Paper Snowflakes
Folding makes the same cut repeat all the way around. That repeating pattern is called symmetry.

- Square pieces of white paper
- Child safety scissors
Do it in 3 steps

Fold a square in half, then in half again, then into a triangle.

Cut small shapes out of the edges (a grown up helps).

Unfold it slowly. Every snowflake is different!
